Pamela Chacón-Uscamaita is a dentist, graduated from the School of Dentistry of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), and member of the Research Group Basic Stomatological Sciences and Public Health in which she has active participation in various research projects. Researcher at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) in Emerge, Emerging Diseases and Climate Change Research Unit. Master candidate in Epidemiological Research at UPCH-2019. (Fogarty International Center-NIH (TG D43 TW007393). Fellow at Fogarty International Center and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) under Award Number D43TW009343 and the University of California Global Health Institute (UCGHI) to design and evaluate an oral health intervention in primary care settings. Teaching assistant of Biostatistics courses at UNMSM and UPCH. Experienced in the use of statistical software (SPSS, Stata, Python), research methodology, web platforms for data management (REDCap). Presents scientific publications in international indexed journals. Research interests in the fields of implementation of health prevention programs in a global health environment using mixed methods, implementation science and evaluation of interventions, Global Oral Health, Maternal and Child health, epidemiology, public health policies.
