Vincent Okello is a highly resourceful and competent Human Resource Capital Manager & Sports Project Management Professional who has extensive skills in instructional leadership and Sports management, Human resources, project planning and management, Football Coaching, and excellent communication skills acquired over 8 years of professional development.
He has vast experience in Human Resource Management and Sports Management with a proven record of exceptional skills in internal controls, project development, and operations, capacity and Team building, resource mobilization, and successful development in Human Resource Management and Football Coaching.
He was among the team members who developed the 10-year strategic plan for MYSA in 2014. In 2015, he was seconded by MYSA to work as the Program Manager for Karura Youth Sports Association and Karura United FC at Karura Chapel an Exchange program for 1 year where he developed the organization Sports and Team structures, developed training modules, and developed various policies and managed the Environment Project.
Mr. Vincent has previously worked for MYSA under different departments including Sports and Environment Project, WASH United project, Leadership Awards program, Database department, Human resource Department, and lastly served as a Member of the procurement Committee. During His service in MYSA, he was Awarded the President’s Award at State House on Community Service and thereafter managed over the years to represent the Organization on Different Sports for Development Programs in Different Countries that include Japan, Norway, Czech Republic, South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, and Tanzania.
He has a degree in Community Development from Daystar University, A Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from The College of Human Resource Management, and is currently undertaking professional training in Certified Human Resource Professionals’ Certificate at the College of Human Resource Management. He has also been trained in Sports Administration and Management at the KCA University. Lastly, he is a well-trained Football Coach Holding an FKF CAF D and KNVB Basic Coaching License.
Vincent is now the Project Coordinator for the Team up Kenya, a Member of Wellness for Greatness Organization and Volunteers during his free time to coach an FKF National Division 2 side league Team Called Kasarani Red Eagles Academy Known as Terror Squad FC.
