Børge Koch is the Head of the Centre for Health Promotion and Health Education at UC South (University College Southdenmark). His working areas are health and health education, sport, consultant for institutions, associations, municipalities, and ministries.
Børge was educated as a teacher for primary and lower secondary schools in 1982. He spent 6 years teaching at 2 schools: 2 years as a school leader at 2 schools. He then went on to graduate in a Master of Sport at the Danish University of Education in 1994. He was a senior lecturer at teacher education at UC South
Børge is also trained as a leader and consultant. Since 2006, he is the head of the Centre for Health Promotion. Børge has several years of experience on school development projects at various schools. He is the leader of the national evaluation on sport in 2004. He was also a member of the national expert group on curriculum development in sport and health in schools in 2003, 2009, and 2014. Børge is also the national coordinator in the SHE network.
