CHANGE 2.0 is a Sports for Development initiative initiated by the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE) based in France. The project will deliver the first-ever flexible and needs-based online capacity building platform for Sport for Development. It will significantly improve the work of organizations and practitioners in delivering individual and community development initiatives in the EU and beyond through sport.

The project is expected to run for 36 months, from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2024. It aims to create a single online platform to enable Sport for Development organizations and practitioners to:

  • Identify areas where capacity building is needed
  • Access a comprehensive suite of online learning modules, based on occupational standards with the possibility of accreditation
  • Access education concerning identified needs
  • Gain links to other appropriate materials

Wellness for Greatness is participating in the CHANGE 2.0 Project as Associate Partner. The other organizations involved in this project are: Swiss Development Academy/Sport and Dev (Switzerland) – lead technical partner, General Secretariat for Sport, Ministry of Culture and Sport (Greece), Peace Players (Cyprus), Laureus (Germany), International Centre for Sport Security (Portugal), University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Italy), Leeds Beckett University (UK) and YUWA Project (India).
